  1.    VBVFW.EXE : A self-extracting program which will extract the following
  2.                files needed for the Microsoft Video for Windows.
  3.  
  4.         - VBLASTER.WRI : a write file giving a brief description of the
  5.                          video blaster capture driver.
  6.         - VBLASTER.DRV : the video blaster capture driver for Microsoft
  7.                          Video For Windows.
  8.         - PCVIDEO.DLL  : PCVIDEO.DLL that is required by VBLASTER.DRV.
  9.         - OEMSETUP.INF : an oemsetup file for installing the video blaster
  10.                          driver.
  11.     - README.TXT

  14. How to run this program.
  15.  
  16.    VBVFW.EXE : User can create a directory and extract these files into
  17.                that created directory. For example the user can create
  18.                a subdirectory C:\VBLASTER\VFW and run VBVFW.EXE in this
  19.                directory.

  21.    To install the Creative Video Blaster VFW Driver :
  22.    
  23.    a. Start Windows v3.1
  24.    b. Open the Control Panel and select the Drivers icon.
  25.    c. Click on the ADD button.
  26.    d. Select Unlisted or Updated driver and click OK.
  27.    e. Type in the drive letter containing the driver disk. For example
  28.       if you have created a subdirectory C:\VBLASTER\VFW and extracted
  29.       all these files in this directory, then you should type 
  30.  
  31.                 C:\VBLASTER\VFW
  32.  
  33.    f. Use the "Setup..." button to configure the base memory address,
  34.       interrupt and playback configuration.
  35.    g. After the installation is complete, your "SYSTEM.INI" file should
  36.       contain the entries :

  38.         [Drivers]
  39.         msvideo=vblaster.drv
  40.         VIDC.cyuv=vblaster.drv

  42.    If you still encounter any problem in this installation, please refer 
  43.    to Windows 3.1 Documentation for information on using the Drivers Applet 
  44.    in the Control Panel to install the drivers.
